Issue 371: March 2018
Ring the bells! What is almost certainly Zebedee’s longest running envelope advert, Geoff Lane’s Thunder Ax9-140 G-BTJO has finally sold in the USA .... Made of silver mylar laminate left over from the ‘Pacific Flyer’ era. With just 25 hours in 4 flights it was a real endurance balloon. Let’s hope 17+ years of USA storage has kept it in good shape .... Also sold is Peter … [Read more...]
Issue 370: February 2018
2018 has commenced with plenty of activity on the balloon market. Sold from the list, including our ‘Stop Press’ section, have been envelopes sized 31.56, 145 and 250, whilst we have finally heard that a 210 on the List was sold a year ago! Plenty of baskets, burners, tanks and smaller items have moved too. New for February is a Cameron 90 from Nick Amor, an airship ‘bottom … [Read more...]
Issue 369: January 2018
December seems to have flown by with very little time between editing the December issue and this, our first offering for 2018. Consequently we can only report one envelope and several smaller items as sold during that time. New for January are just the two envelopes which have appeared on ‘STOP PRESS’ over recent weeks. The period running up to and over Christmas has seen a … [Read more...]
Issue 368: December 2017
Only two envelopes sold during November, although a fair few smaller items found new homes. Issue 367: November 2017
October was another month to see minimal sales on the envelope front, with a couple of advertisers withdrawing their ads for November having not attracted suitable buyers - maybe it is the time of year .... New for November is a ‘Ladybird’ Cameron 105 envelope plus a rather tired Colt 180A, which having not flown since 2006, lacks transition to the EASA airworthiness … [Read more...]

The September issue resulted in one complete balloon (an 80) being sold, with another withdrawn from sale. The 8m tethered sphere also sold, as did a whole host of smaller items. The main additions for October are from Andy … [Read more...]

Issue 363: July 2017
As predicted June has been busy with sales, almost certainly driven by the devalued pound and the run up to Metz .... Although only one complete balloon left the List, many small items have been sold, with more to be boxed up this week.... We are pleased to welcome a whole host of new ads for July - a vintage but low houred V-56, a well looked after all red Colt 90A, an … [Read more...]
Issue 362: June 2017
Zebedee seems to have had one of its busiest months ever for sale of all sorts of items, from log books and small items to envelopes, burners and tanks. The larger items have mainly (but not all) gone abroad, whilst there is certainly a resurgence in progress in the UK, judging by the number of training manuals, log books and training records sold. Two complete balloons and … [Read more...]

Only one old ad has been “forcibly removed” so far as our email … [Read more...]
