July has been another busy month for the ballooning market place. Two complete balloons (a 150 & 210) plus two envelopes (77 & 120) have sold, together with a whole host of baskets, burners, scoops and other bits & pieces.
New for August are two small envelopes (31 & 42), two complete balloons (77 & 133), a complete airship, another bottom end, basket and two trailers from Koen in Belgium and a 2018 pilot job available in France, but you must parlez Français!
The airship is the definitive product from Gefa-Flug’s Mucky Busemeyer – a fully certified 6 seater hot air airship. At number 70, Geta Flug has built more hot-air airships than any other company, with only Goodyear and Zeppelin beating them with various designs of gas filled airship. Mucky is offering not only his 6 seater airship and all the ground transportation and handling equipment that goes with it, but also a high profile airship operating business incorporating a wealth of knowledge built up over a 40 year period.
A number of price reductions appear as usual, with Max Catalani’s Cameron 90 in Italy worth of special mention.
On topping up our stocks of several items advertised in Zebedee’s Box, we find prices on the rise. Small increases appear this month on BBAC Pilot & Crew Training Manuals, 14mm tether line, Tema vapour tank & hose dust covers but the biggest rise is an inflation busting increase on 260 deg F heatlinks from £20 to £29 (inc VAT).
August of course means it is time for the Bristol Fiesta (10th – 13th). Zebedee will be in attendance up until Saturday morning with its stock of the usual spares items and able to bring any specific items on request. Drop us an email or call before you leave home!
