Crispin’s very pretty Kubicek BB20D G-CSEE was sold last month, whilst Mike Scholes has ensured his 1991 Colt 77A ‘Chad’ will be aired from time to time by the Bristol Balloon Collectors. Zebedee has sold two burners and a pair of burner frames.
Most of the items new for December are from ‘Stop Press’ and include Sean Simingtons G-CMEK, a nearly new LTL2-70 envelope with older Cameron bottom end, Ian Jones’ 3m Westfalia trailer, Cameron Mk4 double burner from Glen Everett and a pair of Dartington Bristol beer mugs from Dick Sargeant (just in time for Christmas!). Tony Brown has added a pair of small Helium cylinders to his ‘Stop Press’ collection whilst Zebedee is offering a good condition Thermal Aircraft Honda 5.5hp fan this issue.
We also have an out of the ordinary advert for a Czech based rides operation from Jan Suchy. With Prague being such a lovely city and popular destination for city breaks and the more stable weather enjoyed by Central Europe this established business must be an attractive proposition over ever increasingly wet & windy Britain …!
For many years Zebedee has stored and offered back issues of ‘Aerostat’ of behalf of the BBAC, helping collectors with odd issues or in some cases close to a complete set back to the 1970s. This is NOT a request for boxes full of back issues (!), but to help a couple of people trying to fill gaps we are now without spare copies of October 2017, December 2017 & February 2019. We are happy to refund postage if you can spare any of these – or bring them to the Icicle Meet ….
Finally as another year draws to a close we wish you a Merry Christmas and as always hope the New Year will bring you safe flying and these pages, the bargain you have always wanted! As hinted above, Zebedee will be at the Icicle Refrozen Meet on 4th & 5th January. About time we had a frosty blue sky event! Go to the Icicle website at www.icicle-refrozen.com for details, to register a balloon and book your dinner tickets.
