After a busy couple of months on the Zebedee List, things have quietened down somewhat during August. A late flurry of sales activity as we edit these pages have seen both the Fell Reynolds balloons sold, as has G-BXXG and G-CBOW and at the last minute, G-CHBX. The only balloons entering the main list this issue are those which have moved over from ‘Stop Press’ but Andy Rawson’s almost new 8hp fan sneaked in at the last minute!
We have again left Tony Brown’s collection of varied items on ‘Stop Press’ to keep them together in one ad – although he reports further sales – a long reach refuelling hose and the nitrogen regulator.
For several months we have been contemplating the future for our business, as has Chris Dunkley at Easy Balloons. Don’t panic! No immediate changes are planned, but being realistic the next few years will see us winding down and we thought we should spell out some timely truths and maybe encourage some youngsters into balloon maintenance & repair.
We have written a joint statement which we hope will trigger both business enterprise and some thoughts as to how you can ease the pain of your next repair …..
