As is usual for this time of year, the market for balloons and equipment is gearing up for the summer, particularly as 2023 is a “Metz Year”.
No envelope sales have filtered through to the List yet, although one complete balloon and Transporter went within days off ‘Stop Press’ and several smaller items including a radio, quick release, fan, basket and several old burner units for non flying purposes have found new homes.
New for March is a Cameron A300 from the Bailey Balloons fleet, a used 105 basket , couple of serviceable but well used LBL envelope bags and an old style Bonanno quick release. Several envelope price reductions appear too.
We remind you that the BBAC AGM and Open Day is on Saturday 11th March at Egerton Hall, Juno Crescent, Brackley, with the annual Inspectors Day on Sunday 12th at the nearby Town Hall. Zebedee will be at both and already have a list of deliveries to be made that weekend, with space in the van for more.
The 3-4-40 Region BBAC will be holding their Springkle Meet over the weekend 1st/2nd April at Donnington Grove Hotel, Newbury (see www.springkle.uk for details) and Zebedee HQ (close to M4 J14) will be open on Saturday 1st from 1030 to 1600 for browsing, pick ups, repair drop offs and a cuppa …..!
