July saw the sale of 56 & 70 sized envelopes from these pages. Also during the month G-READ which appeared in ‘Stop Press’ quickly found a home.
Other items which joined ‘Stop Press’ last month have now been moved over to the main List including a very nice looking Cameron TR70 Racer envelope from Neil Gabriel together with his LBL 3m trailer – and another very low houred 77 envelope from Glen Everett. Also the opportunity to buy a US rides business from Brian Trapp.
On a similar note, here in the UK comes the news that Kim Hull’s Adventure Balloons is for sale at the end of the 2022 season (see Business Opportunities). Kim was one of the first commercial operators here in the UK and has survived the various consolidations and failures of many such businesses since becoming one of the largest rides operators with a significant fleet of rides balloons and diverse operating locations. Kim’s dogged determination and ‘hands-on’ approach has proved successful and full marks to him for negotiating and operating his “London Flights” mainly from Hyde Park over so many years.
Chris Dunkley has produced a detailed report of the LBL Quad burner unit (no outer frame) advertised last month. The good condition coils alone are worth the price ….. See Burner section.
As with many businesses the ever increasing cost of raw materials has forced us to increase the price of our ever popular burner bags to £195 + VAT. This applies to bags for any manufacturers single & double in standard frames. Larger bags by individual quotation.
Finally, the next Zebedee Meet attendance is the Bristol Fiesta, 11-14th August. We already have a number of deliveries to be made – but have space in the van for more ….. Please order early ….!
