The Coronavirus lockdown continues here in the UK and most of Europe – and many countries worldwide.
Unsurprisingly little has moved from the List during April and no new adverts have arrived with us.
However the lockdown has resulted in a big tidy up in the Zebedee barn – leading to quite a few smaller items being discovered which have not hitherto appeared in these pages ….! See the appropriate sections for a Dittel Radio, inflation mat, binoculars, hand-held anemometer, leg leather/pole set, workshop weights, Airtour CRP-1 computer etc.
Whilst mentioning leg leathers, the pile which has mounted over the years has been sorted and we have several sets of covers, both Cameron and T&C, plus odd covers in a variety of colours – see picture.
All are £10 each, but we will not split the sets of 4. Email us if you require some but please specify the colour and approx. length, so that we can let you know what we have. We are still able to post out items we have in stock.
Sadly we have to report the death of well known, much respected balloon pilot, BBAC inspector and Zebedee customer Steve Burden due to the virus in late April. Steve a Brit living in Germany had a successful lung transplant last year and was making good progress so was vulnerable to the virus. Our condolences to his wife Geli at the difficult time.
This issue is again a web only version but paper copies will resume as soon as the printers re-open.
Let’s hope by the time the June issue appears we have brighter news with an idea of when flying may resume. Stay safe ….
