The Zebedee List

A comprehensive list of secondhand balloons and items for sale for balloonists

Issue 465: January 2026

Issue 386: June 2019

Several sales were notified during May, including the long advertised Cameron Pot 90, G-CHAM which has found a new home in Spain.

New for this issue is a 5 hour UM H-31 Hopper G-XAIM from Glen Everett. Built in 2010 this envelope will come without artwork, with the possibility of a bottom end being available too. Then just in time for the internet version only comes adverts for a Cameron Double T basket, a later version Cameron 8hp fan and four Cameron 80 litre Titanium cylinders from Andy Rawson.

On the subject of lightweights, an Ultramagic fold away ‘basket’ and burner appear in Bottom Ends. The attachment for a third tank on this series of baskets appears separately in ‘Other’.

Stuart Seager is selling an 8hp fan – looks like a nice fan, but needs a little bit of TLC on the paintwork.

Many UK pilots are back from a very successful Midlands Air Festival at Arbury Park, Warwickshire held on 17th—19th May. Whilst the weather was forecast to be ‘iffy’ and the new location very close to Birmingham’s airspace around 150 balloons came out of their bags over the weekend for nice free flights on the Sunday, a Friday night glow and a ‘bimble’ around the vast launch site on Saturday evening. Lots of long lost special shapes tethered, the competition types went out for a fly-in and one or two flew out for the inevitable short flight towards the no-go airspace. Add to this several hours of airshow each day by fixed wing and helicopters then there was plenty for the public to see. Our congrats to organisers James McDonald and Colin Butter and their team on a great event.
