By the time you read this, we hope you are all back safely from your adventures in Metz. This year’s meet did not enjoy the usual wall to wall flyable weather we have become used to at Chambley however the record number of balloons in the mass inflation was a truly awesome sight and the weather did redeem itself later in the week.
A number of complete balloons – a 56, two 90s and a 250 were sold during July along with a 77 and a 130 envelopes and a few other smaller items. Paloma from Spain also tells us that all her Ultramagic equipment is now sold. We have been told by prospective buyers that other kit has found new homes but need to verify this with the seller so don’t forget to let us know when your adverts can be deleted.
New for August are two complete 90s along with a 90 special shape envelope, a complete 31 hopper, a 105 and at the other end of the size spectrum, a complete 425. For those commercial pilots looking to escape the British winter there is a job offer from South Africa in our ‘Situations Vacant’ section.
