Although the number of envelopes sold last month was low, quite a bit of ‘bottom end’ equipment found new owners including three baskets & four fans ….
October looked as if it was only going to see rides balloons join the List – a complete 180 & 260 plus four envelopes, three of them 275s and one 210 appear within – but just as we closed for press, Glen Everett came up with a 31 envelope. So a quick bit of trading could still secure an entry for Phil Dunnington’s fast approaching One Man Meet on 18th to 20th October at Stratford Upon Avon. This is a fun event, open to anyone flying a 56 or smaller but solo. Over 20 entries are already in for this year. Contact Phil for more details on phil@gonewiththewind.uk.com.
We have been made aware of a possible problem arising from the sale of an envelope advertised in recent Lists. In the light of this, would like to take the opportunity to remind advertisers when wording their advertisements and selecting photos for the website to try to give a fair representation of their items. For example, using recent photos rather than ones when the item was new or at least saying when the photo was taken if it was some time ago. For buyers, the moral seems to be ‘if you can’t view the item yourself then ask lots of questions’! At Zebedee Balloon Service we can only use the description provided by the seller so cannot take any responsibility for failure in any way, of the items advertised.
