Well, what an amazing month! Many new ads have come in during October, a number going on ‘Stop Press’ as they came in, the rest fresh for you here …….. These include types Ultramagic H31, Cameron C-80, Ultramagic M-90 as complete balloons and an all Ultralast Ultramagic M-105 envelope. Most other sections of the List have seen changes – sales & additions, making it a ‘must read’ for all!
Rebecca McDonald has sold here Colt 77A G-BXFN, Peter Kenington his Cameron C-80 G-CEMF, whilst another balloon is subject of negotiation at Zebedee at the moment so has been withdrawn from the List.
Once again the ‘Sits Vacant’ section has a chance to fly commercially in Canada, whilst the same company is advertised for sale in ‘Business Opportunities’.
The intrepid Mike & Debbie Scholes have turned their attention to gas ballooning of late and are looking for like minded individuals to join them by forming a gas balloon club …. See Sits Vac’.
Finally we have to record the sad death of Karl-Ludwig (Mucky) Busemeyer, hot air airship supremo from Aachen in Germany. Under the name Gefa-Flug he developed the 2 seat Thunder & Colt AS-105 airship into the 105GD in co-operation with Cameron Balloons and eventually into a 4 seater. He was a quiet, thinking man and a clever engineer.
