There is plenty of activity on the market at the moment, although we have only heard of 2 envelopes selling from these pages during May. The Concept 90 G-CECD has gone to Belgium and the Australian based Cameron Z-315 envelope has gone to South Africa. The nice Ultramagic bottom end has also sold.
For June we bring you a complete Sky 77 with only 34 hours, complete mid size balloons sized 120, 133 and 160 and a low houred Cameron DP-70 Hot air Airship, currently based in Italy.
Zebedee has added a number of good scoops for larger balloons plus another nice 70/90 basket and a few smaller items.
Another book has joined the Zebedee Box section this month. “Objets non volants identfiés” by Denis Germain is a 62 page, nicely illustrated record of all those ballooney things we collect during involvement with our sport – pins, tiles, visiting cards, paintings, postcards, porcelain boxes, phonecards, envelopes, stamps, commemorative medallions, plates etc. Although the preface (written by Bertrand Piccard) and limited captions are written in French and the objects illustrated are mainly of French origin, this glossy book does make you realise how balloons have become so popular to illustrate heaven knows what. Quite how Dante Group & JB Books John Baker’s visiting card got in there we don’t know ….!
We assume like us, you have been inundated with EU General Data Protection Regulation information from every company, club or organisation to which you are associated. Our Privacy Policy is selectable at the bottom of every page of our website for your enlightenment. Funny though that it has not stopped the daily stream of junk e-mails advertising website creation, feature writing, loans, Amazon vouchers, yellow pages scrapers (!) – or those annoying cold calls on the telephone … Is this progress?!
